Age Range: 3 years to school
Day to day routine and activities revolve predominantly around preschool education and creative and social development. As children leave this group to attend school, we also focus on preparing them for the structure of curriculum education
8-9am Register and free flow play
9am-11am Creative activities (such as art, music, baking), indoor and outdoor play
11am-12pm Tidy up and Intimacy Island - Intimacy Island is a dedicated time with the children’s key worker. A particular topic is explored, usually through story telling, group discussion or music.
12pm-1pm - Handwashing and Lunch. Children are expected to serve themselves food and drink
1pm-2pm - Outdoor play
2pm-3pm Register and free flow play
3pm-4pm Handwashing and tea. Children with serve themselves food and drink
4pm-6pm Creative activities and play (indoors and out)
Water is provided throughout the day
Each of our children have free flow access to the garden at any time throughout the day, and are all encouraged to be vocal and express their needs.
Regular development observations are made by the staff and daily reports are given to parents to take home
